Hey there 👋🏼, I’m Eric Lucatero, a kick-ass Graphic Designer, Art Director, Creative Director, Artist, Father, and Husband. Based in SoCal and deeply involved in the visual art scene. I’m a genuine, humble creative professional with a straightforward, no-BS attitude. My passion for art began at a young age in grade school, where I would doodle and draw by hand. Later, I painted murals and graffiti for hire and explored various mediums in junior college, where some of my student work was featured in the Vincent Price Art Museum (VPAM) at ELAC – art is a big part of who I am. 

My entrepreneurial spirit pushed me to aim beyond the traditional 'starving artist' stereotype with fine arts and dedicate my 10k hours to corporate graphics. In business, I worked hard to become the market expert in creating effective visuals that help drive a company's connection with consumers. Commanding the same trust you'd place in an accountant managing the finances or a sales rep closing deals. 

I like to approach every collab and project with a level head, end-user lens, people-first, transparency, and positive vibes–at whatever stage your company is in. I believe that working within a purpose-driven structure while remaining agile fosters stronger working relationships and creates living stories that can evolve, build community, and inspire human connection. Which in turn creates lasting recognition, brand loyalty, and growth.

Nowadays, I am mostly fighting the good fight as a freelance multidisciplinary creative. My work encompasses working with or leading in-house teams in retail packaging, branding, Illustration, digital graphics, and social media campaigns across sports, beauty, wellness, pet, manufacturing, and technology.
